With the earlier series rifles 452 455 it was recommended to use 20 or 17 caliber rods and bore guides to keep the rods from dragging over the actions ejector which would happen if you used a 22 caliber diameter rod I don t know if the same problem happens with a 457 series rifle or not though Logged Joe L Hero Member Posts 7103
